Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons

Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons in

Redwood Forest 411
Niagara Overlook 417
Sedona Sands 405

According from their website:

“ Creamy matte colour and moisture rich wear
For everyday wear either alone or layered under lipgloss or lip shine
Precise application without hassle and mess of sharpening
No added flavour and fragrance
Hydrates and moisturises lips, leaving them feeling soft and smooth.”

Here in Australia there are 6 shades. I picked the shades:

Niagara Overlook – peachy-pinky shades
Sedona Sands – nude with pink warm tone
Redwood Forest – i thought it’s more of berry shades but it looks more brownish red. In the picture it doesn’t do any justice but in person it is surprisingly beautiful.
My Experienced:

It applies very smoothly and it feels very hydrating on lips. The “creamy matte claims -its not overly matte. It has a moisturising looked (not shiny/not glossy looked). But wait for few minutes it slightly dries down but still feels moisturising. I really like the way it feels on my lips.

Swatches above: Redwood Forest, Sedona Sands and Niagara Overlook

Longevity:

It lasted 2-3 hours but i guess using lipliner underneath will prolong it.

The packaging is very convenient for travel, in your purse.

Personally I like these especially Redwood Forest! It surprised me a lot. What about you? What are your thoughts?  Which colours do you like? Let me know below and feel free to comment 🙂
